Another thank you goes out to those of you who attented the Bryn Loosley & Nick Bearden shows in Chico, San Francisco, and Sacramento. Additional pictures, audio, and video (if there is any) will be posted as soon as it is received.

Until then, here is a nice clip from the review in the The Buzz section of The Chico Enterprise Record:

source: www.chicoer.com/entertainment/ci_6396402

"Bearden and Loosely, old favorites of the Chico music scene having lived here for seven years, followed Shannon's performance. Although Bearden now resides in Portland, Ore., and Loosely in Nevada City, they stop by Chico whenever possible.

They began their set with "Happy to Be Here," always a favorite with their fans, followed by "Peace of Mind," a personal favorite.

The crowd really came alive when they switched from acoustic guitars to electric and performed a good old drinking song that they wrote, "Tonight's the Night."

Bearden's distinctive vocal style always compliments Loosley's, and both are accomplished guitarists.

Most of the crowd already knew Bearden and Loosley; they have a loyal local following among the young and young at heart. Those who dropped by Café Coda to see them were not disappointed."

BRYN LOOSLEY & NICK BEARDEN CODA RECAP:

MySpace only allows 4 tracks at a time, so following the trend of many other artists, individual profiles were set up for the Signal to Noise and Paint By Numbers albums. Feel free to add the profiles, or just use them to stream tracks from the respective albums. The most important thing is getting the music out there into your hands. You asked for it, we provided.

BC | SF | 6.10.2006

B.C. In San Francisco

Buffalo Creek is playing a show in San Francisco. Now, this doesn't happen too often. The last time we played in SF the streets were filled with riot cops and war protestors in March 2003. Yup. It's been that long.

But this weekend, BC will be at The Kingfish in San Francisco, where we're playing an all-Chico alumni show after the Giants Chico Day game at SBC Park. (Look for the show on the jumbotron. Wheee!) The Kingfish is located right across the street from the park at 128 King St. Here's all the details:

Buffalo Creek, Sweedish, Blisses B (100% ex-Chicoans!) Saturday, June 10 - 4:30pm Kingfish 128 King St. San Francisco, CA 94107 FREE!

So, join several hundred of your fellow Chico alums at game and then spill on into The Kingfish for an evening of live music. Or skip the game and just come have some drinks and see BC in SF. Who knows, it could be another 3 & 1/2 years before we're back!

Hope to see some old familiar faces.

Announcing Montana Waterfall:

Montana Waterfall

Montana Waterfall consisting of Nick, August, and special guest Lee Simpson will be performing at the second Bobolink Music Festival. Additionally, depending on how things go, there may be a few other special guests. Please check the tour page and the festival web site for more information.

Buffalo Creek Nominated for a CAMMIE Award:

Similar to Sacramento's SAMIES and the Bay Area's BAMMIES, Chico has been put on the map with the CAMIES. Buffalo Creek has been nominated for the running in the "Country / Bluegrass" section, as well as for the Peoples Choice Award for the "Best Band In Chico". We think that what the CN&R is doing is great for the chico music community, getting the music of many bands into the ears of many folks who might not normally be exposed to such diversity.

Write-up that the Chico News and Review has on Buffalo Creek with respect to the CAMMIES:
