BUFFALO CREEK STORE

New Creek Shirts front | back

New "California's Gold" Buffalo Creek Shirts available:

Our friends over at Phamily Graphics have put together a new line of Creek shirts both for guys and gals. We have Ringer T's for the girls and regular T's for the guys. The shirt color for gals is what you see to the right, sort of a sandy brown-ish color with dark brown ringer on the neck and sleves. The guys shirts are a little more butterscotch-ish color in nature and are not ringer T's.

The front features custom graphics of Buffalo Creek and the neck of a Telecaster Guitar, while the back features the lovely state of California, and the lyric quote of "California's Gold" from Buffalo Creek's song, "Northern California".

These shirts are 100% sweat shop free, made right here in the good old U.S. of A, and are available in just about any size you can imagine.

Additionally, THESE ARE A LIMITED EDITION SHIRT, GET YOURS BEFORE THEY ARE ALL GONE.

Shirts are $15 for either chicks or dudes. Please send an email to nick [at] buffalocreekmusic.com for ordering information and options.

PAINT BY NUMBERS SHIRTS

We still have a few remaining womens Ringer T's that were made for the Paint by Numbers CD Release show. We have about 3 womens shirts and 3 or 4 mens sweatshirts in double extra large. The shirts are exactly as you see to the right, and the sweatshirts are black with white print.

These shirts / sweatshirts are 100% sweat shop free, and are made right here in the U.S.A.

Shirts are $10 for gals and sweatshirts are $15 for the guys. For $20 you can get both shirts, and for $25 you can get a new Creek shirt in addition to a sweatshirt. That's a pretty sweet deal.

Please contact nick [at] buffalocreekmusic.com for info about snaggin' one of these. We'll cut you a sweet deal if you get one of these in addition to the new shirt design.

SIGNAL TO NOISE ALBUM

Signal To Noise 2003:

Buffalo Creek's first full length audio offering, Signal to Noise represents over two years of writing, arranging, recording and producing by all of the band's current line-up of Bryn Loosley, Marc Stafford, Nick Bearden, August Germar and Ryan O'Donovan.

REVIEW:

Buffalo Creek’s first full-length album Signal to Noise is a rare resurgence of good old rock ‘n’ roll. This long-awaited release, with Bryn Loosley’s bittersweet lyrics of love lost, layered on top of tuneful melodies and well-orchestrated musicianship, has a quality that makes getting these tracks stuck in your head a good thing. Entwined is a return to rock’s roots, including sounds of folk, blues and even some jazzy keys. Though often country-esque ("Firecracker," "Shopping Cart"), inventive guitar licks and drum riffs occasionally change it up to something almost funky ("Delta Breeze," "Cry"). But regardless of its sense of all-inclusiveness, Signal to Noise is more importantly a nostalgic return to a purer rock ‘n’ roll. The end result of this careful composition is not simply just a collection of songs, but an undivided experience. – David P. Brown

PAINT BY NUMBERS ALBUM

Paint By Numbers 2005

Buffalo Creek's newest album "Paint By Numbers" was released on February 25th, 2005.

After moving in to the old "Phresh Studios" (where Signal to Noise was recorded) after its demise, Buffalo Creek decided to take a stab at recording an album all on its own.

REVIEW:

"Paint By Numbers."

In the third album, fans can expect a little less country and a lot more rock 'n' roll. Vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Bryn Loosley said the band has moved from playing mostly country rock music to more traditional rock 'n' roll.

"Our first album was all country rock, then the second album had a little more rock in it," Loosley said. "The third however, is all rock" Loosley went on to define Buffalo Creek's music as retro-original. "The themes and ideas come from old-fashioned rock 'n' roll and are recycled, but are much more original," he said. "It's definitely a style you won't hear on the radio."

And Loosley is right. "Paint By Numbers" is filled with thought-provoking, emotional tracks that will take your mind into pleasure mode. Whether it be "Barroom Queens," a Lynyrd Skynyrd-type tale about a groupie, or the deeply descriptive "Northern California," which is about lazy days at the river and the coming of fall, "Paint By Numbers" has a sound that's completely on its own level.
